On his mother’s side, three generations of dairy farmers showed him firsthand how unpredictable markets, rising costs, and weather can make or break a family’s livelihood. He worked his way through high school and college as a janitor, milkman, and cook in a family restaurant. The first in his family to graduate from a 4-year college, Mark earned his degree in Education from Lawrence University and began his career as a public school teacher and union member.   ### Successful in Business, Successful in Life   Like many other residents of Northeast Wisconsin, Mark is a successful entrepreneur and retired business owner.
